Circles sharing the same centre we call concentric – the ripples pattern.  We may travel different paths, but remain connected by the same centre.  The geometer’s ancient tool, the compass,  helps create the illusion of a curved surface when we construct circles within the circle.  Concentric circles are one way that ideas spread, they ripple out from the originator, the charismatic, or the innovator at the centre.  Radiating ideas is at the heart of this series of colour ways.  Alternatively, it might just be a colourful picture.
